1 Pack Donruss Elite Extra Ed.

I thought I'd try a pack of '07 Donruss Elite Extra Edition today and pulled an auto...Don Mattingly's son Preston Mattingly (Dodgers prospect). I believe this is Mattingly's first auto that I know of.

Overall, I think the base cards are really nice, except the foil fronts are easy to get finger prints on if you're not careful and it's not easy to get the prints back off the card. They are, however, attractive cards. The card stock could be thicker and I did not get a full look at the checklist, but the player selection seems to be pretty good...lots of first round draft pics including David Price, HOF coaches and legends, baseball players in college uniforms, and even college Lacrosse players are included. The backs are nice and give some stats and a brief note about the person on the card. I didn't see any inserts other than my autograph yet so I can't give a review of those yet. Overall, from what I've seen so far, it's a nice comeback for Donruss. Here's a pic of the ones I pulled from my one pack:

NIce auto - I like the non-baseball cards too - I kinda want a Mike Powell card now :)

nice pull..wow didnt no lacrosse college players where in this set!! Wounder if they have autos..going to check ebay!! Gota get all lacrosse autos

Yeah I like all the added stuff to this product. Though I might change my mind if I get stuck with a Rebecca Lobo auto or something haha
