2007 Bowman Chrome Draft Picks & Prospects

My 10-box case finally came in after waiting several months on preorder. I also broke 2 retail boxes to supplement the case for set filler purposes – turns out this was a good decision for other reasons. Check out the details below. I am looking to build the full set in regular and chrome and also the regular gold parallels. I will publish my set needs shortly, but until then most everything could be for trade for the right deal (nicer autos are harder to get). Thanks for looking!

I guess I can’t complain overall since I beat the odds in general by pulling 11 autos including a Red Refractor, and also a printing plate. However, other than that I was pretty disappointed in the collation. I’m wondering if I should stop buying cases. What was strange is that most of the Gold cards were Draft Pick or Futures Game inserts versus the Green RC Logo inserts – I guess that may be a good thing since the hottest prospects are in the Futures Stars subset, but it was a bit annoying because I wanted to pick up a gold Lincecum, Pence, etc. I got some, but not all. Finally, I was disappointed that every regular refractor I pulled from the case was a RC Logo refractor – I got zero Draft Picks and Futures Game regular refractors – but I did get some of the other refractor parallels in those insert sets. So in sum, no green golds, but all green refractors. That seems pretty weak to me. My question is, has anybody else that opened a case run into similar poor collation that ended up continuing throughout the case – or was it just my luck? Onto the summary of the boxes…..

mike & choi - I'd be happy to sell these, especially the Lambo. However, the Lambo is selling very very strong on eBay (~$110 to 160 delivered) and I'm tempted to just list it there. If you're interested, please PM purchase offers. Otherwise, it would have to be a strong trade to get the Lambo. As for the others, it would be easier to work something out.

Overall, thanks for the comments. I was a little down on the case because of the lack of insert/parallels, but you guys are right - I had a good smattering of the better autos, the lambo was a nice hit, and the red refractor auto can't be beat. Do you think I should list the Beavan Red Refractor Auto on eBay, or hold it? Happy holidays everybody!
