Donruss customer service
Just thought I'd share with all of you my experience with the customer service team at Donruss. I recently box a box of Leaf Certified Materials(hobby) from my local hobby shop. After opening all 10 packs, I did not pull any of the guaranteed 4 hits. So I wrote Donruss an email and then sent in the pack rappers, receipt, and upc symbol from bottom of box. A few days later, I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a representative. She told me she would be handling my situation and to expect 4 replacement cards in about 3 weeks. The 3 weeks passed and nothing came in the mail. So I called the 1-800 number again and the same representative I spoke to 3 weeks earlier was on the line again. I asked her what was going on and she told me the stock for Leaf Certified was very low and there was not any good cards to choose from for my replacements. She then told me the only thing she could do so that I would get some decent cards was to pick from one of Donruss's other brands of cards. I chose Absolute Memorabilia. Well, I received my cards today and I can't believe what was sent to me. Here is the rundown:
Card 1 - DeAngelo Williams Tools of the Trade black double patch numbered 24/25
Card 2 - Peyton Manning Tools of the Trade Red Triple game used numbered 11/50
Card 3 - John Beck Rookie Premier Materials AFC Auto numbered 07/25
And the big one....
Card 4 - Kevin Kolb War Room Materials Auto numbered 1/5
Overall I'm very pleased with what was sent. Donruss customer service for quality control is probably hands down the best I have ever dealt with. Very impressed with how they handled my situation.

I agree. I have had very good luck with Donruss. On the other hand, Upper Deck has been so bad that I hesitate to buy any more of their products.

man, Im picturing the donruss Customer Service "center" as one person in the back of the janitor's closet with a phone and some pads of paper. I call and after expecting to hear, "press 1 for ____, press 2 for ____, etc, etc" I hear instead, please leave your name, number, and a brief message and someone will contact you within 24 "business" hours...which is a cute way of saying THREE FRICKIN DAYS. That is pathetic!
