NFL Week 17: Who Should Play, Who Should Sit?
I think it is a silly question to think a player has any real influence to sit the bench on week 17. From what I hear the Giants will be sitting like 8 players!

If you can't gain or lose anything I don't see any reason taking a risk in playing your starters.

Cowboys sitting a few too. Mainly cause of niggling injuries.

I tend to think that sitting guys makes them a little rusty coming out the following week. I think thats what takes players so long in the begining of the year to get going. They only play the first series or quarter in preseason so they aren't ready coming into the season opener. I think in week 17 scenarios they should play AT LEAST a half to stay sharp.
Just my $.02 though.

Does sitting a guy for 2 weeks help if he is 100% healthy? Team's that have bye weeks especially should at least play their players for 1-2 quarters.
I would hope Ladainian Tomlinson gets a chance to at least get 10 carries so he can add a 50 yard cushion to his lead. It would be a shame if he lost the rushing title because of a rest.

I think they should play some also unless they are injured somewhat and need the rest on there body.

I Wouldn't Even Think Of Second Guessing Belechik. Giants Will Lose Regardless.

Teams should be obligated to play there starters unless they are hurt. Every team should give it there all every game to best win that game. I know it is impossible to monitor or to even expect, but it's ripping off the fans who are at these games to see scrubs, its ripping off the teams who are fighting to get into the playoffs and other matchups are much easier then that in which they are playing because another team is playing it safe...
I know this is a completly different argument then one mentioned, but injuries are part of football, you should be required to play every game unless you are legitimately hurt.

Will Romo sit. Damn man now who do I start Romo or Big Ben. At the moment have opted for Big B as Romo may only get half a game
