    Which athletes have played pro baseball & pro football?

    I'm curious how many people have played in both the MLB & the NFL...can't be somebody who only played minor leagues or something like that, but they also didn't have to play them at the same time

    Here's the only 5 I can think of right now...add to this list if you can think of somebody

    JIM THORPE - played in NFL from 1920-1928 & played for New York Giants in MLB

    DJ DOZIER - played in NFL from 1987-1992 with Detroit Lions & Minnesota Vikings...played MLB with New York Mets in 1992

    BO JACKSON - played with Los Angeles Raiders in NFL from 1987-1990 & played with Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox in MLB...didn't he also play with California Angels?

    BRIAN JORDAN - played with Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves & St. Louis Cardinals in the 1990's...maybe a couple other baseball teams as well...not sure

    DEION SANDERS - played with Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins in NFL and New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds in MLB

    CHAD HUTCHINSON - played with Dallas Cowboys & Chicago Bears in NFL and 2001 St. Louis Cardinals in MLB

    DREW HENSON - played in 2004 with Dallas Cowboys in NFL and 2003 New York Yankees in MLB

    They're might be a few more but off the top of my head I could only come up with the same ones you did. This one doesn't really count but John Elway was a football and baseball star coming out of high school. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals out of high school although he didn't play professionally.
