i think we fans are in for some good football the first playoff weekend. i don't have a fav team, but i do like a few of the organizations due to the way they are run. mainly the packers and the steelers. oh yeah, and the patriots. does anybody else notice that there are no thugs or problem players on these teams.

teams i don't like for various reasons.
cowboys- who in their right mind would let the owner on the field, and a receiver badmouth anyone.

chargers- only a stupid organization fires a winning coach. this also applies to the cowboys.

lions- classless organization that never did anything to improve the team around barry.

bills- lets nitwits, halfwits, and morons run things, levy took a 8-8 team and turned it into a 9-7 team. a couple more years of levy and they could be 1-15. i for one am glad he left, only problem is the owner doesn't have the brains, or will spend the money to get someone really good.

niners- they didn't give montana a chance to compete with young for the job. shows lack of class and loyalty.

i also personally dislike any owner that moves his team, and has no loyalty to the city that supported him and made him rich.

i dislike players that do stupid demonstrations on the field and coaches that permit it.

i may as well get some more off my chest
jamarcus russell, i don't like holdouts.

L T- people won't like this one, i don't like holdouts and players that are too good to show up for training camp, and it shows in the early season. not fair to your team and team mates.

A P- just because people are making him the greatest back ever on account of a couple good games. another one people won't like.

thugs- i think they should be kicked out of the game permanately, period.

sorry about this rant, sometimes i just get started and have the time.

wow you have something to say about every team and player

how can you bash on the lions?

they are obviously trying their best to win...

Interesting perspective...I guess...here's what I have to say about all of this....my responses in bold.

i think we fans are in for some good football the first playoff weekend. i don't have a fav team, but i do like a few of the organizations due to the way they are run. mainly the packers and the steelers. oh yeah, and the patriots. does anybody else notice that there are no thugs or problem players on these teams.

teams i don't like for various reasons.
cowboys- who in their right mind would let the owner on the field, and a receiver badmouth anyone.
Whats wrong with an owner on the field? At least it shows that he cares about the team enough. And who has TO badmouthed since he came to Dallas?

chargers- only a stupid organization fires a winning coach. this also applies to the cowboys.
And how did the Cowboys do this year with Phillips? BTW, they fired Marty because he couldn't win a PLAYOFF game.

lions- classless organization that never did anything to improve the team around barry.
...and that was what, 10 years ago? You're still holding a grudge about that?

bills- lets nitwits, halfwits, and morons run things, levy took a 8-8 team and turned it into a 9-7 team. a couple more years of levy and they could be 1-15. i for one am glad he left, only problem is the owner doesn't have the brains, or will spend the money to get someone really good.
Levy also took a team to FOUR straight Super Bowls. But I guess that makes him a nitwit/moron?

niners- they didn't give montana a chance to compete with young for the job. shows lack of class and loyalty.
    No comment on this one.

i also personally dislike any owner that moves his team, and has no loyalty to the city that supported him and made him rich.
    AGREED. Screw Art Modell.

i dislike players that do stupid demonstrations on the field and coaches that permit it.
    Agreed as well.

i may as well get some more off my chest
jamarcus russell, i don't like holdouts.
too early to comment on Russell...but the holdout sure didn't help.

L T- people won't like this one, i don't like holdouts and players that are too good to show up for training camp, and it shows in the early season. not fair to your team and team mates.
When did he not show up for training camp? I don't remember that.

A P- just because people are making him the greatest back ever on account of a couple good games. another one people won't like.
This comment makes absolutely no sense. Just because YOU don't like him doesn't mean other people won't like him.

thugs- i think they should be kicked out of the game permanately, period.

sorry about this rant, sometimes i just get started and have the time.

    Just my 2 cents though.

    common knowledge, jimmy jones meddles.

t o bad mouthed his QB and coach.

cowboys missed the playoffs last year because of a bobbled ball----romo, field goal att.

phillips did real good this year with a team someone else built, same as switzer.

i believe marty built the team.

i really liked barry and will hold a grude for those who screwed him, a long time.

yeah, we're talking about the levy that LOST 4 straight superbowls, due to lack of disipline and stupidity. he didn't run the team, the players did. and he wasn't smart enough to make adjustments at half time. yeah i know phi betta whatever.

    you don't remember L T didn't show for camp?

as for AP, i meant another comment people wouldn't like. he had 2 tremendous games and 2 lousy games.

    When did TO badmouth Romo?

Cowboys made the Playoffs last year.

Phillips did better than Parcells did last year with the same team.

Marty did build the team...that wasn't my point.

    Fair enough on Sanders.

Levy still got them to 4 SB's in a row. They just ended up playing better teams. Not much Marv could do about that.

Nope, STILL don't remember LT not going to camp.

    AP...gotcha.

Bledsoe deserved to be badmouthed. He couldn't do anything towards the end of his career when he was in Dallas.

This thread was meant to discuss the AFC Wild Card matchups. Unfortunately, a couple of comments made have spun this thread into the wrong direction. Please feel free to create a thread in this same forum to discuss the teams you hate or the players you hate. This isn't the thread for it.

    Thank you.

    Game times added.

Looks like I'm going to miss both AFC games because of work. I should have taken the weekend off!
