Trade Rumor
I have the ESPN Insider and I was reading today that the Bulls and the Cavs where discussing a deal Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes for Kirk Hinrich and Ben Wallace. Any thoughts on this.

lets see Ben Wallace is better than Drew Gooden. Kirk Hinrich is comparable to larry hughes. I would understand the Hinrich for Hughes, but please leave Gooden where he is!

This would REALLY help the Cavs. It would give them the true point guard that they've needed for a while, and Wallace would get them to start playing some D. As for the Bulls, Gooden would be an OK inside presence, although he's more of a mid-range shooter. Larry Hughes is a huge underachiever in my opinion. Great deal for the Cavs....I don't like it for the Bulles.

Actually the way Big Ben and Kirk are playing it would actually help Chicago Gooden and Hughes are only under contract for 2 more years. Hinrich I belive is 4 more and Bens is 5 years.

Holy crap...the Bulls would be absolutely stupid to do this trade. Larry Hughes is the biggest pile of garbage out there. I'd LOVE it if it happened, because it would make my Cavs 10 times better.
I'm sure it will never happen though.

I don't believe this is a good deal for EITHER team. I don't see it happening unless there are $$$ incentives and draft picks tossed in.
