My Thoughts

West Virginia just hired Bill Stewart to a 5 year deal. This seems like a bad decision to make after one game. The thing to remember is that he won with Rich Rodriguez's players. He is not the kind of coach that will attract major recruits. A booster said it best when he said that west virginia had"...hired a painter to build a house". Stewart has only been a head coach once and was fired for using a racial slur against an African American player. West Virginia acted too quickly after an amazing bowl win. They might not regret this next year with the majority of key players returning, but two years from now the Mountaineers may be hurting.

however...with the main core of players returning next year, if they can pull off another BCS bowl win, that'll draw more big name recruits in, it's a snowball effect.
