    i saw this comming a while ago.....he's been thru ALOT this year!! im critical when criticisim is deserved with respect to my skins, but i always tried to give joe the beneifit of the doubt!! he is a DC legend, gave us 3 rings and managed to leave this team in a much better place than when he arrived....some times its hard for pro coaches to gain the respect of the other grown men around them - that is something joe NEVER had to deal with....he was a very well respected coach (all around the leauge).....thanks for all you've done for redskins nation, joe!! long live the counter tre!!!!

    I agree...this year took its toll on him. Especially that stretch with the 2 T.O.'s then Taylor then the run into the playoffs. thats enough for any younger coach to just walk away. but he handled every situation with CLASS and DIGNITY....

    he did a GREAT job after taylor was killed to lead this

    Yea he has his Hands full also with his Nascar Team, Joe has done a Great Job with the Skins and he is a CLASS ACT.
