    Would you really believe me?

Here is an issue that truly involves each and every one of us.

    Lost deliveries in the mail...

    Here are the details.

I made a trade, with someone who I have traded with here before.
We got involved in another trade and he mailed his package using not only DC, but Insured it for $100.

The DC says it delivered a week ago...
    One problem...
    I never got it.

I guess I have a multitude of issues with this matter.
All of which I would like to mention here.

    First and foremost is this...
The other trader is going on my word that what I'm saying is true.
I credit our prior trades and communications for this.
But it brings up an issue of which I may be guilty of too. I'm wondering to myself a few things...
One, if this had been someone I had never traded with, where would I stand?
Two, would I be so believing of someone else, myself, if it were my first dealings with them?
Three, what is the use of DC if it didn't deliver to me?
Four, with Insurance used on this package, why is there no protection. It would seem that Insurance is a completely useless cost with no validity.

Both myself and the other trader have communicated with the Post Offices.
We are told that the package delivered and because it did, no claim can be made.

I personally believe this to be a unacceptable.

All these things make me wonder...
And I'm wondering everyone's else thoughts...

Well first off if the postman delivered to the wrong address they certainly won't tell you.
Secondly if you own a mailbox on the road where anyone can take what they want well you see the problem there. I would never send DC and insured as that is truely stupid and for reasons stated. You give the post office a reason not to pay on the insurance!
If you send insured you should also send verified, where the person receiving has to sign for it not just having it thrown into any box and saying it was delivered. luckily for me I have a small box at the office so all my cards are hand delivered to me personally..I love my maillady for that! That would truely test your ability as a trader to believe a story like that. I'm hoping that is the last time I hear something like this happening........

    Hey bud,
I haven't been through this situation myself but I thought about it and thought that it would definitely be something I wouldn't want to go through. It would probably be pretty hard to make both traders happy in this instance and that is what matters most.
