If my son acted like he does on the sidelines he would be benched. At home I would have a serious talk with him about sportsmanship. I truly dispise him and hope the Bolts lose just so I don't see him anymore.

Philip Rivers is a classless punk and unfortunately isn't that great of a football player either.

Other than his throw to Chambers in stride (which was nasty!) he really isnt that talented. I never liked him, hes a step above Ryan Leaf in terms of skill, but attitude, maturity and class, Just about equal!!

One difference between him and Leaf: Leaf came uncorked at anyone, including his teammates. Rivers doesn't come uncorked like that with the people that actually mean something to the team. Furthermore, you say Rivers isn't all that great of a QB. 2 seasons, 25 - 7 in the regular season, 2-1 in the postseason. I would say he is just slightly better than Leaf and just slightly more talented as well. *typed with sarcasm* He is as tough as any QB out there and his trash talk is his competitive edge. You can say that about many players. I would rather have a guy who has that competitive edge than some guy like, say, Jay Cutler who has done nothing but stink it up with far better WRs in a far more friendly offensive system. That guy talks as much crap and doesn't back it up. Sorry guys, but if you want a timid low life of a QB who gives a crap less for anyone else, take 'em. But if your like me and want a guy who has loads of potential and is tough and fierry at the same time, then deal with it.

Rivers is no Leaf in way, shape, form, OR ATTITUDE.

Newcombe- If he is so good and its Ok for him to act like a child. Why does LT and him not get along? I think he wins B/C of who is around him not B/C he is a steller QB. Just my 2 cents

he is way to cocky for not even won anything. also i can handle the talk to other palyers but i don't think you should ever get in a shouting match with a fan. i know some fans are nuts but when you are getting paid millions to play football maybe you should be the bigger man.
