    Is 2007 Topps worth breaking?

i'm new to football card collecting, and i've been shooting for some of the more expensive packs.....but at $40 a box, is the basic Topps set worth trying?
i really like the way the Rookie Auto and Dual Auto's look....that's why i'd try it.

are they so hard to get that it's not worth it? thanks

I am pretty sure that the Rookie Photo Shoot Autos are HTA exclusives.

The HTA boxes are about 100, maybe less now? You get 2 guaranteed Autos (not neccesarily Photo Shoot Autos, most boxes have the Topps Performance Highlights Autos) and you will come up only about 20 cards short of a complete base set - including RCs. maybe not worth the $ to some but you do get a lot for the $, and a chance at Photo Shoots.

    I agree,
Dont waste your money. You can still get Chrome Hobby for around $86.00 a box.
