International Business major?

I am a junior and i'm thinking of majoring in International Business. What do you guys think of this major?

I think it is a great major. Make sure you get an extra language or two as well.

Is there any jobs out there for this major? I have been trying to find some internships but with no luck finding any. Any ideas anybody?

[sivjosh]

An international business degree by itself isn't going to get you any better job than any other degree. You need to pair it with a language and some functional experience (accounting, sales, marketing, finance). Then, it all works together.

In what country do you think you might want to work?

I'm thinking of somewhere in Asia, maybe China, since I can understand and speak Cantonese, but I cannot read it...

Cool. So hone up those Cantonese skills, learn a specific business skill, and start small with a multi-national company, and I'm sure they'd love to ship you to China.
