    Animal damaged cards?

Has one of your pets or someone else's pets ever damaged a card?

Last night I had some cards out working on some sets and before I realized it Dega (my guinea pig) was chewing one. He almost chewed the corner off! I'm glad it was just a card that can be easily replaced!!

no not yet thank goodness. Ive had my dogs knock over piles of cards and stuff-but they were in toploaders so it was alright. I try to keep them where the pets cant reach them.

A dog we inherited from the in-laws really liked to eat paper and books. I left a book out of a moving box right after we moved to the home we live in now and the mut chewed the binding a bit and ripped the book cover to shreds. It was my Ozzie Smith book that my mom had autographed for me. The book is still in one piece and overall not in bad condition considering what the book cover looked like. The autograph is good to go still in the inside too. That dog was exiled back to my wife's mom's house. It was just too wild, crazy and unmanageable. I'd hate to see what it would have done to my cards if we kept it any longer. The kids would probably have been able to use the excuse "the dog ate my homework." My wife had no problem sending the dog back to Florida since it would eat her shoes and magazines too.

My cat desided a good place to pee would be on my cards. Luckily they were all 89 topps.
