Starting an online Business..

I am looking to start an online business with another guy, we are very serious in our endeavors, and we're wondering where is the best place/price to get a domain name(www._________________.com) and where and what are good places or ways to advertise?

We currently only have a freewebs site, and plan to upgrade to a domain name soon..

Any help appreciated.

Of course my suggestion is, look up some newgroups and some help sites as many people will answer questions those looking for answers. This way you can learn HANDS ON what your trying to implement.

It a great way to touch base with things that worked for others and didn't. Of course if your serious about this you truly need to spend some time talking to people. This is not a easy challenge and only the serious succeed.

I have over 100 domains with Godaddy. Go to Google and type in "Godaddy promo code" and use one of the codes to give you a domain for $6.95 a year. They are the best with customer service.

If you want a host for about $2 a month send me a PM. I use the host for most of my other sites that are not huge like SCF. The best service on the internet and they provide daily back ups.

I've also had a few domains with godaddy.com. I wasnt running a business through them but they worked for me.
