I just wanted to drop a line and see what ideas you guys might have for the hockey forum. I truly believe this site can get bigger and especially with that hockey as well if we play our cards right.

Things I would like to see are the hockey staff doing their assigned tasks and then some. Example: We should never see a post with no replies or 1. Why, there is several guys on the staff so we should try to take time to reply to them.

People post SHOW AND TELL TO brag or show their cards. If they do not get responses why come here to show off your cards. I mean truly you want people to say something and that the whole point on posting. Even if it a UD VICTORY card we can always find something to say.

In the hockey card talk their are always people asking questions and sometime they go unanswered. I know we always won't know the answer but it is nice if we take the time to reply or pm someone to get some help on it. BigHossaFan asked about some Parkhurst Reprints and you know what I don't know for certainity the answer but I will try to help him. Again making a post shows that we care even if we don't always know the answer. I feel with all the guys on the hockey team there should be a answer or educated guess out there (thus no reason for no responses),

The same goes for news in hockey why should a member or staff member have a post go unanswered. A member Tmoneywon made a post about what people he thought should get ELECTED INTO THE HALL NEXT YEAR. That a great question but no replies which again leads to the point (WHY SHOULD HE POST HERE).

Bottom line is members come here and if they are new they will stay here if they feel like they are part of the community and that the staff truly cares about them.

If we don't have enough people to answer all the questions perhaps we need to get a few MIT's like the last crop.

Last but not least I would love to hear some suggestions on how to build the hockey forum's. Examples I have are easy to hard.

Product Review (still not one up) Update with redemptions and such as they come out or are known.

Setting up at the NHL DRAFT and ALL STAR GAMES in the future as a site (Hockey Team). I would work this out so we could do this.

Getting a guy I know from SCF over here as he goes to every signing at FROZEN POND. He gets back with each autograph signers for one hour before they go out to sign. Can you imagine if he would post the pictures here and if he did video how much Traffic that would bring in alone.

p.s. These are ideas but if we follow thru on some we can make this a kick ™™™ hockey area. Of course sometimes we need to bring new people in to make it better just like the last crop of mit's.
