    That's not a high school basketball player, that's Kenny George, who plays for UNC Asheville, a D1 college basketball school. He's 7'8", 360 pounds...he has a chance at going to the NBA.

    i was thinking that myself. Kenny George is the tallest bsketball player in the country, right? i wonder if he'll just be a stalkier Manute Bol in the pros though. his body will wear down significantly in the next few years and will only have a few years in him.

    Yeah he's the tallest in the country. From what I've hear, the biggest knock on him playing in the pros is his speed, and also as you said, how prone he is to injury.

    I really hope he's able to make the NBA. Right now NBAdraft.net has him going 59th overall in the '09 draft. His stock could easily rise though if he shows he can keep up with the pace of the NBA.
