    Depends on what type of account you have.

    Personal account: .30 per payment
    Business or Merchant account: .30 and 2.9% of total per payment

    If you receive a lot of payments a month, Paypal will require you to have a merchant account...even if you don't own a business.

    And the threshold is VERY low. Something like $500 in three months bumps you to a merchant account.


    EDIT: That number might be a little low but it doesn't take much to force you into a premier or business account.
