4 Packs Bowman Sterling = Case Hit - SWEET!

I stopped into the local BC Sports to grab some supplies and was tempted by the Bowman Sterling. I actually pre-ordered a case as a splurge because I've never opened a full case of a super premium product. However, I couldn't wait for the case to arrive.....

The packs were $48 after my discount and sales tax. The box I dug into had 4 packs remaining.

I bought 1 pack. The hits only:
Jonathan Gilmore Prospect Auto (this guy follows me - XFract + Blue Ref Auto from Bowman Chrome Draft)
Jarrod Saltalamacchia RC Auto (nice hit)
Ryan Howard GU Bat (very nice PC hit)
Yunel Escobar RC Refractor #/199

Okay - so I went to the car... but I had the bug, back into the shop....

1 more pack:
Julio Borbon Prospect Auto (I hear he's okay)
Glen Perkins RC Auto (eh)
Justin Verlander GU Jersey (okay)

This pack wasn't that great. Now there are 2 more packs in the box. Apparently the other two probably didn't have the RC GU/Auto from what the clerk remembers. So, I figure I should give it a shot because the last pack wasn't that great.

Okay - that wasn't that bad as long as Bumgarner is pretty good like I think. So I'm eyeing up the 1 remaining pack. I'm probably going to walk away at this point. They say, if you buy 1 more pack, we'll crack a new box and give you the loader since you are spending some cash. I say - DEAL!

I opened the case so now I know what I can trade. I'll be posting the full break info and my set needs shortly. I'd prefer to trade Sterling for Sterling if possible.

I need the Verlander for my set. And I also need the Guillen, but I did pull a Guillen Refractor #/199 that I'd be happy to trade if you are interested. Let me know if you have any Bowman Sterling GU to trade back or perhaps we could work something else out. Keep an eye out for my full case break thread - maybe I have some more cards you need.
