SCF Member Ranks Update

We are pushing up the SCF Member Rank System. You can see the members that have achieved a specific rank here. I'm manually added these new ranks and privileges so please be patient. Soon it will be completely automated. My main focus this year is to ensure our best member get the recognition, privileges and rewards that they deserve. Currently, the system is based on feedback, but I'm working on making it based on transactions (only positive).

The first two user groups I'm completing this weekend are our Icon, Legend and HOF members. The following users will be moved to their new member rank this weekend and enjoy all the benefits that come along with it. The T-Shirts will be purchased and mailed out in Feb. Everyone that have achieved these ranks will get increased PM space and their FREE life time Premium/VIP memberships (instituted a few weeks ago).

I hope to get those three ranks done this weekend and the rest done early next week. It all depends how late I have to stay at work next week. :)

Currently, the scores are based on feedback. This means your score is reliant on other members giving you feedback that is not always fair as some members don't leave feedback. I would prefer the system be based on transactions with any negative transactions not counting.

hmmmm....im not really sure what "unfair" feedback is given....there aren't any retalitory feedback here like you get on ebay....im pretty much under the impression that ALL feedback here is fair....ive even gone as far to NOT leave any feedback rather than a neutral, just to be nice....what unfair feedback are you refering to?

i do agree that some dont leave feedback, but what comes around goes around....if you dont leave feedback, chances are you arent gonna receive feedback.....that just kind of encourages people NOT to leave feedback.....well, maybe thats extreme....but definately doesn't encourage people to use the feedback system if our rankings aren't based on that....not to mention alot more work to find out what transactions were made vs what transactions received feedback

just my 2 cents....love to know what unfair feedback you think is exchanged here though

I'm saying that some users DO NOT give feedback at all and that means your feedback score is lower than how many transactions you actually complete. It would not be fair for a user to have 1,000 transactions, but is only ranked by 650 feedbacks.
