That was better than some boxes I've seen - I just did an 8 box case and your box was better than a few I had, and worse than a few I had - I'd say you did average. The box topper is a tough break.
Let me know if you are trading - I need a few more Autos to complete my set (Gallardo is one of the 4 I think) and am also looking for some of the GU to complete my set as well.
I will be posting my full case break and needs shortly - so feel free to peruse that thread for trading opportunities if you're interested. Thanks!

The more I look at Bowman Sterling -- the box topper makes or breaks you. The non-ref cards don't sell well so you need to be buying this product for your personal collection. It seems that you need a /25 + auto to be in any good money with the product and /5 + auto to do really well. Like I said, it looks like the box topper makes or breaks you. That being said, it's a beautiful product and it was a fun break.
Not sure if I am going to do another -- I may do a product where I get to rip thru more stuff with less quality stuff coming out of the pack (looking at Bowman Chrome or Bowman DPP or even maybe Topps HTA Series 1 cases -- just sit down and rip a ton of cards).
As far as selling trading -- I'm not sure what my current plans are, but everyone who has expressed interest -- I will let them know down the road when I figure out what to do.

I think your assessment is correct. I'd even say that the Dual Auto toppers are not box makers either. I didn't realize this, but when I investigated further - most of them sell for $40 or less on eBay. The only HUGE hit is the Joba/Hughes, and even that doesn't make back the cost of the box.
That being said, I do agree that it is fun to rip a product that drops 2 autos per pack with a GU and a reasonable shot at good prospects. And let's also not forget that our pulls may increase in value significantly in the years to come.
However, if you look at Sterling for what it is - a RC and Prospect product, I'd say Bowman Chrome gives it a good run for the money. You can buy 3 boxes of BC for the same price as 1 box of BS. And it seems that in terms of BV, the BC autos are always greater than their BS counterparts. Just food for thought. I think what I'm getting at is that BC is the hobby standard for true RC autos and will always hold higher value than BS. Just my perspective.
In any case, I'm still pumped to build the set. Definitely let me know if you sell/trade down the line. I may still need some of your pulls for my set. :-) Take care.
