A friend of mine got Dan Marino In person auto and its on a pretty old card its in pretty good shape the auto is fading but its still a nice card all in all. We have an upcoming trip that we are going on and he was wondering how much he could sell it for any ideas?

Well, that is Marino's rookie card which is a popular card of his anyway. However, since the autograph appears to have been attained a while ago and is faded quite a bit, I don't see it selling for much. Plus, not many reputable buyers at a show are going to buy it from him unless you have a Certificate of Authenticity. Marino auto's sell very well, but without a certificate of authenticity and in such bad shape, your odds of finding a buyer aren't high.

I agree with everything rchurchward said.
A card like that is probably worth a heck of a lot more to the owner than he could ever hope to get by selling it. It's probably better that he tuck it away in his PC.

He probably could have sold the rookie for more unsigned.
