I think this is a pretty classless thread. Sorry, but making fun of your President may be your free speech, but it is pretty classless in my view. He is such a loser that he became the most powerful man in the world. What a loser!
51% of America voted for President Bush, so you guys are basically making fun of 51% of America. Showing posters from bushlies.com and other obvious Bush hating websites doesn't prove Bush is a terrible President. President Bush ranks higher than Jimmy Carter, his father and his roughly equivalent to Bill Clinton as far as historians and professors. See here.
While the sheep listen to the media and how terrible Bush is, the actual scholars and historians rank him pretty average and equal to Bill Clinton and much higher than Carter and 20 other Presidents. And we all know that if Iraq turns into a successful place his ranking will only go up. I'm old enough to remember that Regan was also attacked by the media an unpopular during his presidency and now is known as a great man. Abe Lincoln was extremely unpopular and lost most of his elections. His policies split America in half he was made fun of because of his height.
I also love that the ones that make fun of Bush are usually the ones that claim their freedoms are being taken away as they make fun of their President on message boards without limits.
If you don't like President Bush then you should have voted him out. Making fun of someone that 51% of Americans voted for is classless in my view.
Finally, I would love to see the peanut gallery speak in front of millions of people. I'm sure It would make some great video.

Seeing that people love graphs, let's look at this one. Wow, the debt went up 40% under Clinton! Notice that the debt has NEVER gone down under any president? From Encarta and US Government

Now let's look by GDP.

Wow! Looks like Bush and Clinton are pretty close huh? Do some research other than ihatebush.com and you may find the truth.

Gore, yes. Kerry, no
Can you tell me why Gore lost his own state of Tennessee in 2000?

actually that's not true. Andrew Jackson was able to reduce the federal debt as president. although that's not super important to the argument lol. also beating carter and his dad isn't exactly something to brag about. there's a reason those 2 were one term presidents. also reagan is known as a great man mostly among conservatives but isn't considered nearly as great by everyone else. lincoln is a much better example as a great president than reagan is

Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are media darlings. All I hear from the Bush bashers is how great it was under Clinton. Well, why don't historians see it that way? Carter should be #42.
Clinton was impeached, let attacks on America occur yearly and lied to America and he is a great President?
In 1835, Jackson managed to reduce the federal debt to only $33,733.05, the lowest it has been since the first fiscal year of 1791.[19] However, this accomplishment was short lived, and a severe depression from 1837 to 1844 caused a ten-fold increase in national debt within its first year.[20]
I stand corrected! I wish our debt was even close to $33,000!!! :)

51%
50.7%
Round it up. I monster number compared to Bill Clinton's 43% in 1992. Clinton never got to 50% even with rounding up. :)
The point is Bush got a Majority and Clinton never did. So, you are making fun of the majority of America.

Sorry, that's still not true. Bush received 50.7% of those who voted which is not 50.7 percent of America.

Nice work Mike. Glad to see someone show some actual numbers on here instead of merely repeating everything Jon Stewart tells them to believe.
I've been following this thread for a while now and it has taken a great deal for me to hold back lambasting this diatribe for its rather apparent naivety.
Before you all start pointing fingers at Bush you should try to recall that the overwhelming majority of Democrats voted in favor of the Patriot Act as well as to go to war with Iraq. Furthermore, to address the likely rebuttal that Bush lied in order to achieve this - if anybody actually paid attention during the pretext of the war you would know that Bush's decisions were based upon BRITISH intelligence reports, which we had no reason to believe were inaccurate. Therefore, I present the question to you: If your best friend told you something and you repeated it to someone else the next day only to find out months later that the information was inaccurate; would that make you a liar?
Next, I would like to address this notion that the executive branch has ultimate power over "economics". Last I checked, Congress has the power to appropriate funds, not the President. Congress has the power to levy taxes and tariffs, not the President. I suggest brushing up on Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution.
Lastly, one of the previous posts on here said something to the extent of "9-11, National Security, blah blah blah". Whomever said this HAS to be a college student because nobody who actually understands what is REALLY happening out there would say something so utterly naive as this. You cannot fathom the overwhelming number of people in this world who would love to see the United States collapse.
