Completed my GOTG Veteran Autograph Set!

This took a long long time.. Mostly just had to wait to find the Bird, Robinson, Lebron, and Russell..

You can check it out here- (individual scans of each card)
    http://picasaweb.google.com/tradebar...meAutographSet

Or if you're lazy and would rather just view them mostly together, I have a thread on Beckett..
    http://www.beckett.com/beckettforum/...osts&t=1625494

Very very expensive set.. Lebron I believe was over $300.. Russell was $470.. Robinson $180.. Magic $230 (but a redemption, before they confirmed he would sign).. Bird ~$150 or so.. Stockton ~$150.. A few like Clyde and Mikkelsen went in the $40+ range..

And roughly $7-$10 for most of the lower end cards

Kind of depressing thinking that I could have gotten some exquisite rookies or something.. Or a Jordan auto that I've been wanting.. oh well.

That's a nice set! Congrats!! I saw the Robinson on the Ebay going for around 167$$ and I was surprised by how expensive it was. I guess it's rare. That is an expensive set though.

Now all that's left is to get a nice display case to show off your collection to your visitors =D

Not a bad idea on the case

And the Robinson is expensive because it was one of the last redemptions to be fulfilled.. so for the longest time people thought the card would not be produced. So prices were driven up by player collectors and a few people who were collecting the set.

The photos are great and everything is an on-card auto which is a rarity these days. Also a classic design/theme which is always nice

Yeah I wanted to collect a set too, but it was way out of my price range. I do like the simpler designs for autos, don't really like any of that Spx stuff.=\

Great accomplishment and very nice-looking. They should have included Jordan in the set but at least they have Lebron and all the others. I still don't have a LeBron auto and as an older collector(relatively speaking) I like the legends. As a fellow set collector I know how difficult and expensive it can be to finish sets.
