Rank the top 10 rookies of '07 in terms of collectibility
simple enough, who are the 10 hottest rookies? i dont even know if 'collectibility' is a word lol but list the top 10 rookies you think will hold their value.
1) Adrien Peterson
2) Brady Quinn
3) Calvin Johnson
4) JaMarcus Russell
5) Marshawn Lynch
6) Trent Edwards
7) Dwayne Bowe
8) Patrick Willis
9) Ted Ginn Jr.
10) Anthony Gonzalez
as far as sleepers...although Ryan Grant will be featured in '08, Brandon Jackson has potential.
Many consider Robert Meachem a bust, but if he gets healthy and learns the playbook, he can be a big factor.

1. peterson
2. lynch
3. bo
4. edwards
and some that played that i don't think are worth mentioning, regarding holding their value.
as far as the rest go, i don't think anybody that hasn't played even belongs on the list.
you can take potential and $1.00, go to mcdonalds and get something from the dollar menu.
i cam name 10 that were drafted because someone in the organization thought they had potentiol---some that come to mind are--tim couch, shawn king, ricky williams, david boston, cade mcnown, akili smith, and, these were just from 1 year. so please don't talk to me about potentiol. mention results. even the ones from 99 that were successful didn't hold their value---culpepper, mcnabb, and edgerrin james.
has reggie bush even came close to what they thought his potential was? not even. why are his cards still high? there is no logical reason.
russell holding out seems like he doesn't want to play.
quinn hasn't played, how can you have an opinion?
collectings rookies is like buying lottery tickets--after the numbers are called you know.
did you all get the pun? you know, ticket numbers, players numbers.

I'm not sure why Quinn has any value at all...he has taken less than 10 snaps...and he only took those because Anderson was hurt for a few minutes. I personally think he will be another Cleveland Quarterback Bust...but I might be wrong. I think the only rookies that will amount to anything in the future are these guys:
Adrian Peterson
Calvin Johnson
Trent Edwards
Joe Thomas
Steve Smith

Holding value is always an unpredictable concept for a number of reasons...injury, scandal, lack of improvement, playing for the wrong team, etc etc etc. But what the hay, here's who I think has the best chance at continuing to be or becoming valuable:
Best chance:
Peterson
Marshawn Lynch - I think these 2 have the best chance of staying valuable
Probable:
Calvin Johnson - he's got too much natural ability not to be a star
Dwayne Bowe - if he ever gets a decent QB
Brady Quinn
Likely:
JaMarcus Russell
Kolby Smith
Selvin Young - If he stays in the Broncos system, he'll do well
Trent Edwards
LaRon Landry
Possibly:
1 or 2 of Jordan Palmer, Matt Moore, Troy Smith, John Beck, Kevin Kolb - a few of these guys are gonna get a chance and 1 or 2 of them will show they have the stuff
Patrick Willis - I think he's gonna be a stud for several years, but he is on D...he led the league in tackles his rookie year...by 33 over 2nd place!
Should, but probably won't:
Gaines Adams - 8 starts, 6 sacks this year...but he's on D too and in Tampa Bay.
Joe Thomas - how much love do OL ever get?
