Arcade Policy Change? Need input!

I'm considering resetting the arcade scores monthly. I think that will make things interesting. To do this we obviously want to reward the members with the high scores/trophies. For example, we could give 100 CC for each trophy at the end of the month (top 3) and 500 CC to the person with the most trophies. This will help the members that have spend CC winning the trophies actually get there CC back and then some. It will also make the arcade more competitive each month!

So, for Jan it would look like this:
bbcards4sale - 1,700 CC (12 Trophies and Leader)
pantera04 - 400 CC (4 Trophies)
C11H17N2O2SNA - 400 CC (4 Trophies)

That's alot of cc for me in the month of January, I don't mind getting that.

It's not a bad idea, but I think making all of the games have jackpots is better. I believe highscores are made to be broken, not reset. What's the challenge there?

There are only a few games that have jackpots and I see they increase each time someone plays, until the highscore is broken. Lately if a highscore is broken the jackpot turns to 'none', while a few go back to 100.
That leaves cc for everyone to get that plays and gets a highscore.

I think it's a decent idea. But will there be any way that you can still have the "All-Time Highscore Leader" stay the same? I don't know if I'm just saying this because I have 3 trophies, but I spent hours over 3 days trying to get that BMX stunts game, probably hit refresh and played it 1000+ times, and over those 1000 times I nailed that 1 perfect run. Now I don't have the CC for 1000 tries and it just sucks that I wouldn't be able to keep the score I worked so hard for.

Edit: The keg stand also hurt my fingers, I don't want to do that again lol.

I will keep it as is for now and look into having a monthly and all time high score. If I can get both then I will look at implementing something like this. Thanks for the feedback! I make all decisions with your inputs.

Hey as long as it doesn't involve a member going stupid for having his high score beat I'm for whatever is decided upon!
