The Panthers need a safety in the offseason, my dream is Asante and Ken Lucas on the field at the same time for us. I also think Foster's gone via trade.

mike im with you on the eagles but i like the franchise tag of LJ hes a great TE when healthy hes got great hands and routes but i want a wr to come to town i really would like to see us make an attempt to get an all pro wr like Chad Johnson since he wants out of cincy but i doubt philly would take another risk with signing or trading for a WR like chad similar to TO with the off the field attitude but i would love to get Fitz he said on WIP the local sports station that he would be wanting to go to philly if he got traded we would be his top 3 options!!!
LETS GO EAGLES! get a WR though

one thing to remember is that quite a few players will take less money for a chance to get the ring, and the pats still seem the best place to do that. BUT, there are a few other teams that made a good run, and i think the same could be said about them.
think about it, if you're a player, would you take less money from a team for a good chance at a ring?? i believe moss did.

The Patriots are not going to have the offseason they did last year ... here is the latest Cap #'s for them

25 New England Patriots $10.93 M There are currently 41 players under contract.

on the other hand ... The San Diego Charges are in a good spot to buy a super team and make a nice run at a deep season ...

1 San Diego Chargers $43.03 M There are currently 44 players under contract.

As a Chargers fan, I know that the Chargers are a team that will be pretty silent during free agency. They have 9 guys (including Michael Turner) that are current members of the team and they will do as they have done the last couple of offseasons and that is attempt to sign their own players first before shopping the FA market. However, I do agree that Michael Turner will not be in SD next season. He is gonna get starter money from someone and the Chargers won't hold onto him. The only way he stays is if a team of lesser stature and going the wrong direction record wise offers a contract higher that the Chargers and he opts not to sign for big money. It just depends on what he desires, money or team success.
