Which box?

Hi all,

I'd like to buy a box of hockey cards to break open but I'm in the UK and shipping charges are awful!

I was wondering whether anyone had ever dealt with Champion Card, and if so, which really cheap box I could buy to get myself plenty of memorabilia or just nice cards.

Doesn't have to be this year, in fact it would probably be better if it wasn't. I have noticed 06-07 Fleer Flair Showcase and 03-04 Pacific Prism Hobby boxes which seem quite good.

Any thoughts? Or anywhere I can get cheap boxes in the UK which preferably isn't eBay?

Hey Jenny,

I used to buy my boxes from ebay but got scammed so i now buy from cardsbythebox.com. I'm afraid there is no way to escape the shipping charges but it is worth it to make sure you do get your cards.

This year I love the Artifacts set and the SPX looks great as well, check out my bucket to see pics. Never bought any flair or prism i'm afraid so i wouldnt know about those....

I would find some other people from the UK as you can ask PHEEBS I showed her a way to search all the members that are there that collect hockey then do a case or half case buy on a product you all can agree on. Definitely helps on the shipping order and I am not sure what some places will do as they offer free shipping to the U.S. over a $100. Might be able to work something out.

p.s. Let us know what you end up doing and if you want some places or tips that I look at would love to tell ya as there about 5 different places that I have bought from in the past. Of course I avoid EBAY as I get the Boxes in person!
