    Artest To Sixers!!!

this is the newest rumor...the trade would be...

    Kings get:
    kevin ollie
willie green (sixers gain more cap apace)
    rodney carney
utah's 1st pick from korver trade (late pick anyways)

    Sixers get:
ron artest ( who would likley opt out after the season giving phili more cap space)

i dont know what to think about this trade. i think it would secure a spot for phili and give detroit a hard time, but carney is one of my favorites and has potential. i wouldnt mind artest because i think artest and iguodala togethor would be a great defensive combo. and, phili would get a TON of cap space, and if it doesnt work out, phili could always let him opt out and we dont lose much.

the only thing i dont like is that everytime i think of kings/sixers trade i think of what happened to phili when they got c-webb.

would love to here others thoughts on this.

Would they just trade Ander Miller so Lu Will can start, I mean is it that hard?

Philadelphia is not going to win this year. Why give up so much for another trouble maker in Artest?

    2. greeen is a HUGE amnt of cap space he is taking up
    3. if it works out, we can re-sign aretest
    4. if he opts out, we have even more cap room

what doesnt make sense about it...

also, it may seem like a dumb move, but if you didnt know, we are re-bulding, and we have the most cap room in the NBA, that trade gave us a pick to use or trade, and we got 5 more mil. to spend in cap space in girachik.

if your rebuilding, there is no point in picking up Ron Artest

how do you figure that? re-building means getting new players to make things work...in artest, this is a win-win situation...

if we get him and he sucks and it doesnt work, we can let him opt out and we get more money.

if he works out for us, we can keep him and go somewhere with it.
