May I suggest splitting a box with a friend? I have done that twice now with one of my friends, we each pick out what teams or players we want, we both pay for half the box, and we both open it and split up the Inserts and Numbered, and if we get a GU/Auto, we determine who keeps it based on what team it is or who could use it as tradebait. I'm a teenager by the way.

I like topps dpp. its around $30 and it has a lot of rookies. there are a bunch of parallels/refractors. Bowman chrome is also a pretty good deal with decent inserts. Its about $55 and you get an auto rookie. If you have more money, donruss gg has 3 hits (07: $100+/ 06:$88) or topps co-signers (about $80, but two autos)

Topps DPP is a fun, cheap box to break...only $10 or so more than a retail blaster and you're chances of pulling a decent card are a lot higher.

Another option that is pretty cheap right now is Artifacts. Dave and Adams has them for $45/box and you're guaranteed 1 auto and 3 GU, plus 4 RCs which a pretty good value as well.
