I attended the show today 3-29-08 , this was my first show in California. It was held at the Vintage Fair Mall. The bad part for me was that I am a big Card collector and there was not much to pick from in the way of cards, however there was a lot of Memorabilia items. from Football, Basketball, Baseball, Racing , and some Boxing , Hockey, Gold, Wrestling. Also they did have one signer there in the way of Greg Townsend former Oakland Raider and all time sack leader. He was signing autos on polaroid pictures that he was selling for $10 a piece (Yes you get to be in the photo). He was friendly enough to take a pic with me for the site but no autograph for me this time. He did say that he was going to be attending all of the shows held by this promoter and will be signing at all of them. The prices I would say were reasonable for the most part and the dealers were very friendly. All but one dealer said I was more than welcome to take pics. So here are a few that I took while I was there. Daniel.
My overall Review
Cards Wise 3 out of 10 - There was a very limited amount of actual cards.
Dealers 9 out of 10 - Most were very friendly and polite and were more than willing to help out the site by allowing me to take pictures.
Prices 8 out of 10 - Most items were reasonable on sale value there were a few Items in my opinion that were overpriced.
Greg Townsend - 10 out of 10 - Very Down to Earth Guy , took time out to listen to me talk about the site , and thought it was a great idea what we are doing here.
Memorbilia - 10 out of 10 - This stuff was everywhere and there was lots of it to pick up.
