My I hate Topps Threads
I truly hate Topps and their Redemption program, I sent in a redemption for a 07 Topps Tx Super Bowl Ticket Auto of Lofa Tatupu on Feb 2, 2008. Today Mar 5 I receive guess what a REPLACEMENT (06 Bowman SOTF Greg Jennings Auto), the enclosed letter stating we know you've been waiting a long time blah blah blah, due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to obtain the exact card specified....
What the heck? The Tatupu's are live on eBay, did they send them to people who didn't even have the redemption? Its a 07 product for crying out loud....they will be getting a call from me tomorrow. I hope the other two redemptions for more Ticket Autos don't get replaced.

I'm right there with ya... For the past 2 years they've printed Peppers redemptions, KNOWING that he doesn't sign for them, and they still print them.... I've been screwed out of 2 and I just got screwed out of the 07 TX Superbowl Ticket stub auto... sent in the redemption, got a Leon Washington Bowman auto... I called and raised hell and they finally sent me a Peyton Manning auto'd mini helmet. Then, the other day, I saw an 07 Topps Triple Threads auto redemption of Peppers/T. Gonzalez/A. Gates so I called Topps and asked them about it, they informed me that that specific card was being replaced with something else... So all these people that are spending big bucks on these cards and not getting what they want... How's that for business? I just don't get it... if they fully understand that certain people never fill their redemptions, why do they keep putting them in the autographed sets?

i just got my replacement from 9 different tx auto stubs,
8 napolean harris
1 lofa tutupU
i got CORTEZ HANKTON TOPPS AUTO FOR MY TATUPU ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
I CALLED THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE THE SAME BV. I LOOKED THEM UP HANKTON BV 12.00 LOFA 20.00 I SEE A DIFFERENCE AND THEN TO LOOK ON EBAY AND SEE THE LOFA AUTO LIVE AND SOLD FOR 79.99 DELIVERED!!!! WHAT THE!!!!

I've been screwed on Peppers a few times also. I stay away from his redemptions now. Redmeption cards in general are evil. I never buy them anymore. If I pull one and can't trade it, I redeem it and expect to get screwed.

Yup, I'm the exact same way... unless it's a physical autograph... you're not getting my money or my cards.. you can keep the redemptions!!!

Called twice today and spoke with different Reps. They said that the Tatupu's they had were inserted into Topps/Bowman Sterling packs and that Tatupu didn't sign any additional to the 150 they received and Topps does not have ANY Topps Tx Super Bowl Ticket Autos for the redemptions they issued, so I'm screwed on Napolean Harris and Ty Law. Law I've seen live but no Harris.
Topps stinks and I won't be getting any more of their redemptions.

i spoke to 1 rep and he told me lofa signed 100 and they got a 2nd contract with him for anthor 100, he then admitted to me that they wont send a admended report to beckett for print run information until all redemptions are expired. so we get screwed on 2 occasions. one bv is not going to stay the same when bv is 20 now and selling for live prints for 80.00
so i asked for a supervisor got thrown on to a dead line just rang for 15 min, so i called corp and asked for a supervisor I will get be getting random packs and a random auto for the troubles. im sure it will be topps total and and 2nd cortez hankton. lol

I just called them yesterday about the new 07 Triple Threads auto that has Julius Peppers/Tony Gonzalez/Antonio Gates. I wanted to know if I should even waste my time buying a redemption since Peppers hasn't signed the last 2 or 3... The lady I spoke with admitted to me that he hadn't sent the autographs back and they have already planned to replace this card. She also said "as a matter of fact, Julius hasn't even signed his agreement with the league to fulfill card company requests" whatever that means... None the less, it doesn't take a genius to figure out, if he hasn't even signed your contracts for autographs, why keep putting him in autograph series? WOW.
