Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs has filed a grievance against the team, saying that he should have been designated as a franchise player by the team as a defensive end instead of a linebacker. Had Suggs been franchised as a defensive end, he would have been guaranteed an additional $814,000 in 2008

Some things will have to happen for this to work for him. For example, he's listed on their roster at NFL.com (which I assume is official as listed) as an OLB. He's also number 55 which I believe can't be a number for a player who's primarily a DL.
