I am thrilled to see him gone, was frustrated so much throughout the season with how bad they performed. Not neccessarily his fault but someone had to go.

I don't see why he was fired. The players make the plays. There was one guy that could have jumped up and just tipped it. On another not, look at the other terrific stands the defense made throughout the game. Remember when it was just inches to the goal like and it was stopped? The offense is just as much to blame. 4th and 1 in Philly. You have to go for it there. If they would have just went for it (and probably made it) we wouldn't be hearing all of this right now for sure!

That was Sherman's fault not going for it on 4th and 1, not the offense's fault. The Packers defense throughout the year was horrid in key situations.

First off, Philly got a hometown spot on that play. I still don't think the ball went over the yellow line.
Donatell deserves to lose his job. It's inexcusable to allow 2 meltdowns against Philly, and then others against Arizona, Kansas City (besides the Philly play off game this one was probably the worst), and Detroit. He has the personnel to suceed. It's his damn fault if he can't make it work.
Linebackers coach Mark Duffner will probably be in the running. He took a very bad LB corps. from 2002 and rebuilt it with Nick Barnett (got screwed out of Defensive Rookie of the Year) and Hannibal Navies. I'm sure he could work his magic on all aspects of the D.

I totally agree..they got an extra 2 yards.
but you know what? when you give up 4th and 26, with no pressure on the QB, you deserve to be screwed on the spot

Donatell decided to rush McNabb on 2nd and 3rd down and was able to get sacks to set up 4th and 26. Why he wouldn't go with what was working on 4th and 26 still is mind boggling. The Packers have had horrendous play calling all season. Runs on 3rd and long, passes on 3rd and short. You'd swear we had a horrible running back when some of these plays were called. The game was a microcosm of the Packers season.
