    07-08 Rookies...

For a while there, I was getting worried. But have you noticed how much better they are doing here recently?

Upside is the word - Thornton, Brandan Wright, Julian Wright, Hawes, Thaddeus Young - they are all showing up big time now.

Even Durant is starting to hit his shots more consistently.

Give this group a couple of years, and it is going to be great.

The most underrated player from the 2007-08 NBA Draft in my opinion is Carl Landry. He has some upside as well. He's averaging 8.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, and he's shooting 63.3%! All this in only 16.6 minutes per game.

Yeah, Landry looks like a Clarence Weatherspoon type in the making. i don't know about his upside, but he definitely is surprising everybody as a rookie.

Funny thing is that Chuck Hayes had a similar rookie season a couple of years ago after going undrafted I believe. ESPN stats guy was giving him hype as one of the best PF's in the league. Now Landry is doing the same thing in Houston. Is there something in the water down there, or is Houston really good at finding undersized PF's?
