    Steelers LB Harrison Arrested, Charged With Assault

    Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Bowl linebacker James Harrison was arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting a woman who said she was his girlfriend, according to several Pittsburgh-area media outlets. The police said Harrison struck the woman in the face with an open hand leaving "red marks" according to the affidavit. After Harrison left the residence, police pulled him over and brought him back to the woman's home. Police said Harrison corroborated her account of the incident. Harrison was arraigned and then released on his own recognizance pending a preliminary hearing Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
