    WR Hackett Making The Rounds

Where will this guy end up?

    WR Hackett Making The Rounds

    Adam Kaplan, Scout.com, Seahawks.net

Free agent WR D.J. Hackett's stock is rising as he is meeting with three teams this week. Today is in Washington D.C. with the Redskins. Thursday he will meet with the Buccaneers and Friday he will visit the Panthers. Seattle has said they will consider whether or not to match the highest offer Hackett receives out on the market.

I wouldn't mind the Cowboys picking him up, but they don't have much money left.

I'm not sold on Hackett. I don't know if I want Carolina to sign him, or not. I was hoping they'd make a play for Bryant Johnson.

To be honest, I think he ends up back in Seattle. He was on the radio out in Seattle and stated that he would like to stay there and he would give the Seahawks an chance to match any contract offer he receives. Don't think there will be much play out of Tampa Bay (they have a ton of WR and just signed Antonio Bryant). Washington had a chance with Zorn there, but they offered him a deal and he didn't accept it. Carolina is the wild card here. I still think he would prefer to stay out west where he is from...
