    Trent Dilfer released!

ESPN-Veteran QB Trent Dilfer has been released by the the 49ers.

Where do you think he will go? He's a pretty decent backup IMHO.

He looked ok on the niners once he got the rust off. I think he has the potential to be a good QB if given the right setup and a chance. On baltimore he was told "dont lose the game".

Funny, both Fresno State QB's (carr/dilfer) getting the release this season =) I think Billy Volek on the Titans is the only Fresno State QB in the NFL that has produced anything good.

I like Volek. He is the best backup QB in the NFL.
