Beckett is a total mockery
I can honestly say that I look forward to getting the Beckett Monthly each month to read the articles and see what prices are changing from the previous month but when I got the Beckett that I came today, I couln't have been more frustrated and disappointed in my life. When I read that it was going to be "Beckett Sports Card Monthly" with only the most recent years' listings, it was a completely frustrating feeling. The fact that everyone who purchases the magazine is looking for more than current pricing is going to absolutely hurt Beckett in a big way. The fact that they are only producing the extensive pricing magazine 6 times a year also is ridiculous in every way. I could hanlde the price hikes and such but this is totally intolerable. I intend on calling them and requesting that the remainder of my subscription be in football ONLY (yes, the semi-monthly) instead of the "new look" Beckett. After my subscription expires, I will also inform them that I will most likely have no intention of renewing because what they have done is a total mockery and is just a laugher in every way.

Newcombe- While I agree Beckett has also been going down that road for the last 2 years...They have no intention on reverting back to times of past when everthing was listed. I feel you pain man I really do but sadly if you are that dissatisfied with the monthly just pick up the "giant bimonthly" issue everyonce and awhile

the raseon they did that is because they want more people to subsrice to the OPG rather then the magazine less over head to maintin a web site than to print millions of magazines you do OPG then not buying magazine one less they have to print at least thats what i think i dont subscribe so i dont really know

If you just want pricing then the OPG is the way to go. What irks me is that the OPG cost the same as the magazine. Frickin' $4.95 a month and they don't even have to print it and ship it like that magazine.......
Beckett has become all about money over the last 2 or 3 years. They used to allow buying/selling on their forums and they "outlawed" that because they couldn't get paid for it. Now they push the Marketplace sellers because they get paid by those guys but many of the sellers on there are slow to ship, they list cards they don't have in stock or charge obnoxious prices for common, easy-to-find cards because set builders need them and will pay more to get them.
