    2007 Draft Picks & Prospects, three-day break

Since this is my first "real" box break, I figured I'd spread it out over a few days. I decided on DPP mainly because it's pretty cheap and has a good amount of non-base, even though I'm way late to the party. I'll be busting 8 packs per day. The product specs say that I should get 24 rookies, 24 parallels, and 1 relic per box; with a 50% shot at an auto.

I should mention that unless otherwise noted, everything is for trade -- that includes base (which I enjoy trading!).

My first thought: boxes are smaller than I expected! :P

Anyway, without further ado, here we go!

Pack #1: Jake Delhomme, Santonio Holmes, Nate Washington, Zach Miller RC (Silver), Kevin Kolb RC
Pack #2: Shaun Alexander, Owen Daniels, Santana Moss, Marc Bulger (Silver), JaMarcus Russell RC

Pack 3: Brady Quinn RC, Kellen Clemens, Carson Palmer, Senior Standouts Amobi Okoye Jersey Relic RC, Paul Williams RC
Pack 4: Warrick Dunn, Michael Huff, Vernon Davis, Marion Barber (Silver), Darius Walker RC

A hit on pack 3? I hope that's not my only one for this box or else it could be a long break!

Pack #7: Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Bush, Ronnie Brown, Jeremy Shockey (Silver), Vince Young RC?
Pack #8: Frank Gore, Charlie Frye, Deuce McAllister, Carnell "Cadillac" Williams (Silver), Reggue Bush RC?

I'm not really sure what the Young and Bush really are. They say 'Class of 2006' on them, have a different design, and take the place of the RC in the pack, but are they really rookie cards?

Anyway, that's all for tonight. Tomorrow, I'll break the next eight packs!

The bush and the vince young are sorta like reprints from the 06 dpp. they are about $5-$8. They come in the chrome parallels as well.

Seems like a good start so far. I also bought a box of these over winter. My best pull was an Adrian Peterson black chrome card. Good luck with the rest, I too would have them all opened by now. It pays to be patient.

In the 2006 Topps DPP, Bush, Young, Leinart, and Addai cards were released in the auto version only. So, Topps inserted the base version in this year's product.
