The Bruce Bowen Suspension
Bruce Bowen was recently suspended for kicking Chris Paul, ending a streak of 500 straight games played. Should Chris Paul have been suspended too?

It does look to me like Chris Paul hit him, but, it looks more like it was while he was trying to grab the ball. It's hard to tell.
What do you think?

It looks like Paul accidentally low-blowed Bowen and Bowen retaliated with a knee to Paul's face.
I that think Bowen tries WAY too hard to defend and ends up being labeled as dirty.

bowen always says that these things happens when he gets into the game and that everyone does it but ive seen this guy trip people, knee people, elbow people, and they all look like there on purpose. He is labeled as a dirty player because he is one.

Suspension of Bowen was just. Paul didn't do anything intentional. Its a shame to see a streak come to an end because of a suspension.

and it was a jerk move of him to back away to try to save himself instead of being a true athlete and helping cp3 up

Most athletes don't pick up the opposing player. You have to remember that Bowen took a shot in the groin.

Duncan does that ALOT. Trust me, as a Spurs fan I know. He's one of the kindest players in the game. My arguement is that approximately 80% of the players in the league do not pick up or offer to pick up the opposing team player on the ground.
If we want to talk about dirty players and jerks then look at Shaq. He elbows people all the time. He gets away with shoves and body checks. He doesn't pick up opposing players off the floor...especially ones he nearly killed. He also refused Duncan's hand in their previous matchup last Sunday. Seriously. Duncan offered his hand and Shaq didn't want it. Yet, no one brings up Shaq's name in dirty/jerk discussions.

haha yeah i agree. and my point is that more players should do that. duncan does it a lot, therefore, he is the most, or one of the most respected players in the game. if i kicked someone on the ground, i would help them up, anybody should, even bowen, i could see if he was trying to get a charge and he fell, i wouldnt, but, if you hurt the player, then you need to help him. just my opinion.
p.s.- GL against phili tonight :)
