Seahawks Mulling The Release Of RB Alexander

Time for Mr Alexander to retire in my opinion and let the young Dawgs take over

Seahawks Mulling The Release Of RB Alexander

    Chris Harry, Orlando Sentinel

With the recent additions of running backs T.J. Duckett and Julius Jones, the Seattle Seahawks reportedly are mulling the release of running back Shaun Alexander, who is barely two seasons removed from rushing for more than 1,880 yards, 27 touchdowns and leading the Seahawks to their first Super Bowl berth. Running back Maurice Morris also remains on the Seahawks roster. The stable is full.

I agree with you. Alexander isn't good enough to be a starter anymore. Also, every runningback on the team besides Morris will be ahead of him. he'll be 3rd string

I've never really liked him, but he was a TOUCHDOWN MACHINE for 5 straight years!

This guy can still play, just won't be in Seattle...

This past year for Alexander was horrible. However he did have lingering injuries. Im pretty sure the guy can still play, he just needs to be healthy.

He's gonna turn into the next Priest Holmes. Star back for years, then fades out like nothing.

We have every other running back, why not. If you know any more QB's out there, we will take them too. ;)
