Best to go with one of the top Beckett or PSA. Some will throw in other names like SGC and a few others and their nothing wrong with them. It just most people go with the first two. There has been a few articles written up as well by people on the grading as well. If you want just send me a pm and I will try to dig up some information for you from here or on the net (if you want more).

Do yourself a favor and don't bother grading them at all. First of all, it is overpriced. Secondly, if the card comes right out of the pack, as far as I'm concerned, that is "Mint" condition. Isn't it? Seriously. I can't believe the amount of money people waste on graded cards. Plus, I like to be able to actually touch and feel the cards. Is there anything even remotely appealing about that bulky plastic case? Especially game used items. Half of the fun is being able to touch the fabric, face mask, shoe, etc. Besides, it is subjective at best. You can send the exact same card to 3 different grading companies and you'll get 3 different grades. And what if they come back with crappy grades? Are you going to try breaking them open? It won't happen without damaging the cards. I vote you keep them in your favorite screw-down or top loader and just enjoy the cards and their natural beauty. But that's just one guy's opinion.

hey, as a graded card collector i would say my favorite grading service would be BGS, the holders in my opinion are nicer and more appealing than the PSA holder. i also think the subgrade system BGS uses is more appealing. from experience BGS is tougher to get nicer grades out of than PSA, BGS 9.5's i've found are way harder to get than a PSA 10 so check your card for any defects when sending to bgs b/c they'll kill ya on it, PSA on the other hand will let a minor flaw or two slide and you'll still get a PSA 10. i would NOT grade with anyone else besides BGS or PSA b/c there's just not enough value you'll get back with lesser known companies such as GAI, SGC, etc. thanks.
