Just wondering if anyone uses any type of computer software to help keep track of their collections.

I use the card collector, i haven't updated since 2003 but as far as entering the cards, it's real easy and comes with nice reports. People will say that you have to add stuff manually if you don't update, but I say that you would do that anyways with Excel or any other program so you might as well just use the program that's designed for cards and update when you wish.

I just use Microsoft Excel, You have to type each card individually, however the categories are at the top and its on a nice spreadsheet!

I just use Excel with a different column for Player, Year, Manufacturer, Set, Sub-Set, Card #, and Serial # (e.g. 259/298). I use Excel for my #'d, Autos, and eventually I'll list my GU in it too. My base and non-numbered inserts/parallels I just throw in a monster (well actually 2) monster shoe boxes organized by first letter of the last name.

Why not just use our card manager? You can download all your cards as an Excel sheet, edit it and re-upload it. And the best part? It is free!
