Is this a good replacement I got from donruss?
Back in 2005 i sent in a redemption for a mike ditka significant signatures silver/25. He has not signed them as of last week So i asked for a replacement They asked who i collect and i told them Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson. I got a 2007 rookie premiere materials Adrian Peterson with two peices of jersey and a peice of football that spells out NFL. Since Ditka didn;t sign becket has it listed with a bv of N/A. If i am looking at the Peterson price right it books 80.00 its Numbers out of 849. I love the Peterson but it is a materials card and not a auto like the ditka and the ditka is numberd out of 25 but i am not sure what valut the ditka would have. Any opinions on this?

Hmmm..In the long run, AP might hold better value, however like you said, the auto and /25 does make the Ditka just as nice..If your an old time bears fan then it would be upsetting...

Well they can't say they gave you even value because the Ditka is n/a, but at least they sent you a nice card of the top selling rookie so it's kind of a wash,I just hate the fact that they didn't send you an auto for an auto. It's your call as to whether you want to contact them and see what they say, personally I wouldn't expect them to offer anything else nice ap though take care Steve.

Thanks for the replys guys. I have a question. If it was you and you desided you wanted to contact them What would you say. I am thinking of contacting them. I want them to know that i do like the card i was sent of Adrian Peterson But also i want them to know that I was a bit disapointed not getting a auto for the auto i sent in. I am thinking of saying that i liked the card i recived as a replacement but I was a bit disapointed in getting a jersey card as a replacement for a autographed card.

O.K truffle here is what you do in 2004 upperdeck legendary signatures there is a Mike Ditka shortprint Autograph,ITS VALUE IS 300 DOLLARS HIGH BV .since your card has a n/a value bring up this fact and tell them you think that after waiting over 2 years they should be able to do better, let them know you are not satisfied and tell them they are not gonna get away with sending you an 80 dollar card for your card which might have had a 300 dollar bv,also tell them you collect autographs over game used cards and were very dissappointed in not getting a similar autograph as your replacement, let me know what happens take care Steve

Well i did relise i found out that i was looking at the wrong version of the ditka and mine is numberd out of 50 but that is still short printed and no book value. well this is what i wrote tell me what you think. I wrote that i was happy to get a fast replacement it only took three days after i asked for a replacement and that i know they did there best to get me a card of a player i collect and that i know that the players i collect autos are probably higher bv of the ditka auto but i was a bit disapointed in getting a jersey card for a auto redemption of a hall of famer #erd out of 50

Well i got a reply from them Although it wasan;t as nice as mine email i did find out the value of my Adrian Peterson 80.00 whitch is good for a jersey card. This is what he/she it said.
"The Mike Ditka autograph card is valued at about $40 and the Adrian Peterson is valued at $80 according to the Beckett price guide. I would say that is more than a fair trade. Thank you."
I would like to know where in beckett that the ditka autograph bv is I know its not on the online my collection section Not sure about in the beckett mag though. I also added a scan on my buckett
