what do you guys think this is worth...
i just got a Walter Payton autographed football(not a card) with COA. i figured, that you guys are my closest football budies, so tell me what you think. Thanks, Russ

if it really is authentic and you got it from a credible source like steiner then i would say at least $500

im not sure who it is it has a walter payton inc sticker on it and the COA.

I disagree. To one person it could be worth 100, to others 1000. All depends on how big of a Bears/Sweetness fan. If it were mine, I couldn't put a price tag on it, because I value Payton and the Bears. Its worth whatever its worth to you. You cant really put price tags on things like that, in my opinion.

thats a good point portis. i surely doubt its going anywhere. his name is just that big. you dont know football if you dont know walter payton. Am I right?

Yes, you are right. He will be remembered forever. 100 years from now when someone refers to Sweetness, everyone will know who they are talking about. By the way, looked at the pic. Very nice. I wouldn't mind getting me one of those one of these days. I dont have a Payton auto yet. I have a pretty neat signed photo of Butkus, Ditka, and Sayers though.

well on dacardworld.com they are selling a vick auto football for $300 and i figured payton is definately worth more than that. so i guessed at $500 for a good figure just to give you an idea
