Chris Webber to retire
Time is apparently up on Chris Webber's basketball career.
Sources close to Webber told ESPN.com on Tuesday that the 35-year-old has decided to retire from the game and end his comeback with the Golden State Warriors after more problems with a surgically repaired left knee that has plagued him for the past half-decade.
Webber is expected to formally announce his plans Wednesday, sources said, less than two months after rejoining the franchise that unleashed him on the NBA as the first overall pick in the 1993 draft and the face most synonymous with Michigan's famed Fab Five team.

I will remember him for calling that infamous timeout against UNC in the NCAA Tournament.

I remember that also. But anyway he deserves it. He is never going to be at 100% not even at 90%. He has been a great player. He will be missed.

yeah.. he was the first player i collected! see my dad goes about 6'6 and i was supposed to be 6'8 (not turning out that way) so i always dreamed i would be a dominant post player like he was! then at age about 12 i started getting into this card collecting thing! he was naturally the person i gravitated towards! now im a high school senior who is 6'3 playing basketball! you can see who i try to be like now by my signature!! lol ;)
