Why is it so hard to trade?

I'm having touble getting trades done and help would be good.I don't have a problem with people responding but it seems like they are intrested in my better cards but either don't have cards that book at the same price or don't want to give them up but expect me to give up mine for lower end cards.I mean my cards might be the best in the hobby but they are not that terrible are they?

Completing trades just depends on who you are trading with. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. Some traders will only trade GU for GU, Autos for Autos, etc. If you have a certain requirement or standard try putting that in your signature. You could say something like..."If interested my high end cards expect high end in return", or "Will only trade GU/Autos for the same", etc.

Hope this helps. I like the McNabb and Papale Autos, CMB, but I probably don't have anything that would be same level. If you see something lmk, if not, no biggie.

I would think you would have alot of interest for your cards. Espeacilly the Ryan Howard and Cole Hamel's you have. Sorry to hear that you aren't getting as many trades as you would like done. I have had that problem once or twice in the past with certain lower end card's having no interest what so ever!!

Your cards are too expensive!

That's why it is hard to trade. Not that having expensive cards is bad, we all want them! But think about it. What sells more at your local Wal-Mart? $2000 TVs or $2 Sodas?

When I came here last fall, all I did was trade autos and GU - nothing else. And even that was slow. Since I started putting sets together, I'm putting in 6 or more a day.

But it would take a week's worth to equate to one of yours.

I think as long as you trade on the high end, then it will take more time to to find traders and work out a deal.

That sucks I have had 14 trades this month and I thought I was smoking hot. Some guys have over 80 trades this month. Man that puts my 14 way down the list on all time trades for one month.

I'm always asking you about this card but I guess we just can't find any way to make a trade happen.
