My Rant on another site...
Well I've heard of people having trouble with Beckett so I never tried that out. I would have never thought I would have such a hard time with another site I've been a part of for 18 months. A site that will remain nameless just banned me.
What did I do wrong you may ask? I posted twice in a row on someones thread: First by stating I have these cards he might want and the second being 2 more cards I found. I then get an email from a mod stating that I shouldnt do that and from now on I should combine them, you know the standard mod email. I didn't think what I did was wrong but I decided since it was in the rules Id follow it from now on.
But then I signed on today to go check out one of my posts, and it turned out I was banned. The mod said I ignored his pm, it turns out he wanted me to go to the thread and combine the posts myself. I dont know what that would've helped since there still would've been 2 posts. I figured they already took care of it.
Now I was on that site for 18+ months where I didnt have any problems and had 55+ positive Transactions. I explained this to the mod along with me not ignoring his pm just assuming he had already done it and he responded with:
The infraction stays ,as well as the suspension.you have been here long enough to know to combine posts.and this isnt the first time you have been warned.(WHICH IT WAS!!!!!) What got you in trouble was ignoring my pm to you. You have 5 days off to think about how you conduct your self here hopefully you can come back and realize we take keeping our site the best on the net seriously. Enjoy your time away. *MOD'S USERNAME* Mod Team
I just want opinions on this... am I wrong to be mad?
I am done with that site which just makes it easier for me to concentrate on this site along with TCC......
I think the mods over there are just a little power-hungry...
Sorry I needed to get that off my chest!!!

Yeah that did seem a little petty to me. I wouldn't think two posts was that big of a deal and if he wanted you to go back and change it, he should have explicitly told you to do so...I would have done the same thing you did.
I've only been a member on one other site, TCC, but I quit it after the mods/owner were unhelpful and then ignored my pms. I've looked at Beckett and I don't their or TCC's layout. SCF is the best site and has the best mods I've found by far...and it's the only place I trade.

I agree completley!!! The mods on here are very understanding and helpful... That's why I've been on here the longest, it is the most pleasant atmosphere, I just wish I would've narrowed my options sooner!

Talk about petty,I don't know if it was beckett but i am not a member there but i do go to the message boards to read box breaks and stuff,if I ever were a member there i would be banned in less than an hour because alot of the people on that site need attitude adjustments,I like it here just fine great mods and great members take care Steve

I'd go to the owner of the site. Say that the mod wasn't clear with what he said (Which is true) and state that he said "I shouldnt do that and from now on I should combine them," which implies that any further posts should be combined. This is definitely takeable to the owner in my opinion.

unless that "owner" is Beckett, and then they really don't care what you have to say!!
Not sure if the site was beckett, but it sure does sound like something that would happen over there. I'm a member but I only go to read the football talk section anymore, only completed a few trades over there and always have a hard time with a few members.
SCF is hands down the best site for the card collecting community.
