wow...I've heard of that, just never known of anyone to have that. what percentage of diabetics have it? I know type 2 is 95% and type 1 is 5% (roughly) so that must be under 0.5%
you must have lows often...is that right? heres a suggestion - put your pills in a place you go frequently (ie, bathroom) so you see them and remember to take them
man, being allergic to gluten must really suck too! lol...that really limits you to what you can eat
how often do you test your blood?

I like to test my blood once a day, but the doc I have right now will only give me enough strips to test it like 2-3 a week, so i requested a doctor change, see in that way I am lucky I go through the VA so medical is free, but sometimes you have to find the right doc. As far as the percentage goes that have I have clue he did tell me it was very rare, so they asked me to consent to them taking my DNA for study, which I did. Also believe it or not, I have more highs, then lows because my body just refuses to use the insulin that is there. Daniel.

Wow....that doesnt seem right...you should be able to test your blood whenever you feel it needs to be checked....what if you have a low or a very high BG? hopefully you get a different doc for your sake!
medical is free for all residents in VA? I'm moving!!! lol
